〈After Hours〉是加拿大歌手 The Weeknd 即將發行的新專輯《After Hours》的宣傳單曲，在復古迪斯可的〈Blinding Lights〉以及鼓點強勁的〈Heartless〉之後，〈After Hours〉不與先前兩首歌走一樣的風格，而是回歸了 The Weeknd 早期在《Trilogy》那樣抑鬱低沉的曲風，搭配他經過殘響處理的歌聲，淋漓盡致地展現出想前女友復合的渴望。
這首歌被推測是寫給分分合合的前女友 Bella Hadid，他們的關係始終撲朔迷離，而〈After Hours〉是在描述 The Weeknd 在分手後不斷麻痺自己但又渴望能復合的憂鬱心情。歌詞中有一段描寫他過去曾在某次分手後，與另一個女生交往的過程，這也被猜測是在影射他與 Selena Gomez 的曾經的戀情。
