Troye Sivan 釋出了歌曲〈Easy〉，同時也宣佈新 EP 《In A Dream》即將發行。這首歌是繼〈Take Yourself Home〉後，他於今年釋出的第二首歌曲，而這兩首歌皆會被收錄在 EP 《In A Dream》中。

〈Easy〉延續了〈Take Yourself Home〉慵懶的合成器流行，比起〈Take Yourself Home〉沈重的氣氛這首歌聽來更加的雀躍，然而這首歌並不是首快樂的歌。Troye 唱著一段因距離而逐漸崩壞的關係，以失火的房子做比喻，逐漸失真的戀情就像是房裡的傢俱般被高溫烤得扭曲歪斜，最後被燃燒殆盡。

他在歌詞中有提到了讓這些問題變得容易的某個「他」—— 這個人也許是介入關係的第三者，和這個人相處比起原先的關係容易許多；這個人也許是 Troye 心中的一個理想形象，他希望能和這個化身一樣由人有於解決感情問題。不管他唱著的這個「他」是誰，Troye 仍深陷在感情的泥淖中，他依舊愛著這個陪伴在他身邊已久的愛人，並希望能與他重修舊好。
Troye 的新 EP《In A Dream》將會收錄六首歌曲，並會在 8 月 21 日發行，而〈Take Yourself Home〉和〈Easy〉分別會作為 EP 的第一首和第二首歌。
